Laiya is officially done with middle school! The Dutton Christian graduation ceremony was very nice. All the graduates cleaned up really well. It was a busy couple days. Wednesday was class trip day - they had to be at school at 6 am and picked up the next morning at 2:45 am. Then on Thursday, they had practice at 1 and had to be back at 6:30 for a class picture. After graduation the girls all got together for a pool party and that got over at 11:30 pm. The next day at noon they had a class party. Laiya's friend came home with us from that party to swim. Friday night we went downtown for 'Festival of the Arts'. Laiya's artwork was on display at the art museum and Ben's band, Igby Iris, played at the Clocktower Stage. We were thankful the weather cleared up shortly before Ben's band went on. Laiya's artwork

Braden had fun taking pictures for me.
Evan had lots of fun dancing to the music
Lucy went along for the fun!
Ryan took Heather away for her 30th birthday, so I am watching Abby and Ty (Dave is gone golfing). Heather's sister is in town and she's watching baby Kate. We're having lots of fun together - they love to make crafts, swim in the pool, and make forts. Craft time
Abby and Ty - ready for church
Abby and Ty couldn't believe their daddy swam underwater when he was little, so I scanned the picture to show them.
It's been a busy weekend, but full of blessings!

Looks like a full and fun weekend with family :) I remember when Ryan took swimming lessons when he was so little - bet Abby and Ty liked the picture!
I am so happy to think that even the "Grand-children" can attend the Christian school. we are so blessed. I know some times it seemed impossible to do the tuition, but looking back, it sure was worth it. The pcitures are beautiful, but wish we could have been there. Oh well, that's life. Love to all MOM
What alot of fun you had last weekend! Glad too that the weather held out for Ben. We obviously didn't risk it. wish we would have.
Enjoyed Laiya's graduation celebration. What alot she has learned in one short year!. Hope driver's ed is going well!
Congratulations, Laiya on passing your driver's education test! Great job!! You'll have to take me for a ride someday soon :)
