My Mother's Day card from Laiya -
First thing this morning, Laiya ran up and handed me a card that she had made. It was so creative! She admitted tonight that she did it while we were sleeping last night and finished at 1:14 a.m. - she is truly my daughter!! She used lots of my craft supplies to punch out shapes and rubber stamp designs, and she added ribbon, stickers and sticky colored tape. The front says "HAPPY” and the letters are made of candy canes, a chop stick, a sausage (her absolute favorite food), pencils and a ruler, an ice cream cone and snakes. Inside she wrote "Dear Mom: Thank you for your love! Happy Mother's Day! Love, Laiya Joy" - Needless to say, I got a little choked up!
