Laiya Continues to be a Delight!!

This morning I met with the resource teacher from Laiya’s school and with Mr. Yoder, the consultant from the Christian Learning Center who did her testing. They had some great suggestions of things to work on over the summer. They are also going to take her out of class occasionally to work on things that she needs extra help with. She really is doing very well. She doesn’t like PE though, and was very hesitant to try to hit the ball in softball. Today, though, she jumped in the car and said “I hit the ball!” She was so proud. I asked if she kept her eye on the ball like we told her to and she said “no, they set the ball on a stand for me and I hit it and I run and run.” She was so proud!
