The Latest News . . .

Well, as of yesterday, Laiya is officially our daughter. She probably doesn't know about us yet, but will be told either this week or next. She is taking exams right now, so they want to wait until she's finished studying. We did have a little set back with our fingerprints, and are still waiting to hear about the immigration paper work, so it looks like it will be March at the earliest, possibly April, before we can travel to Hong Kong to pick her up. That brings up another "problem". Last Christmas we told our kids that we were planning to take them on a cruise this March! We will be gone from March 17-22, so we hope Laiya is here by then, since we bought her a ticket and an airline ticket! But we know that it is all in God's timing and we will leave it in His hands. Please pray for Laiya as she will soon realize that her dream of having a "forever family" is coming true. Thanks!
