Grandparent's Day at Abby's School

Yesterday was Grandparent's Day at Byron Center Christian, where Abby and Ty go to school. Ty is in pre-school and didn't have class that day so we didn't get to visit his room. After enjoying a wonderful program by the elementary students, we got to visited the classrooms. Abby couldn't wait to show us everything. She kept saying "so what else do you want to see?"

Abby with Grandma Bronsink and Great Grandma Bredeweg

Abby read a book to Great Grandma Bredeweg. She is an excellent reader!

A paper that Abby wrote. If you can't read it, it says "I know Jesus loves me because he died on the cross to wash away my sins . . ." and how she knows that God loves her because He gave her a mom, dad, brother, sister, and a dog. It ended with her saying "I will follow Jesus for all of my life."

After visiting the classroom, I took her out for lunch at Subway. That was a pretty big sub for a little girl!

It was a very special day with a very special little girl!!

Oh my, what a lot of catching up I have to do! Love the pictures of your trip and your precious grandkids! Abby's story is priceless - and it looks like she's a good eater in addition to being a good writer :)
