Laiya’s social worker in Hong Kong says she is doing so well because we prepared her so well, and we say it’s because she (Rukiya) prepared her so well. I’m starting to believe that a big part of it is that Laiya wanted a forever family so badly that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to make it work. She’s even starting to do some household chores (I won’t complain about that!) She continues to be a delight!!
