Today we went to Battle Creek so Laiya could see where Ben and Erica live. Erica fixed us dinner and then we headed to Isaac's ball game. He sure is growing up!! 
Erica, Isaac and Lyvia came back with us to spend a few days and swim in the pool. Laiya wants to learn how to play tennis, so Erica brought their rackets and she gave Laiya her first tennis lesson. For never having played the game, she did okay. (We managed to retrieve all the balls that went over the house and those that landed in the gutter!). She also wants to learn to play volleyball and I signed her up today to take piano lessons. She's going to go to tennis camp in July too, so she will have a busy summer. Tomorrow she will go with Joann (our youth leader from church) and get ice cream - one of her 3 favorite foods!
Laiya continues to try new things . . .

Glad Laiya likes trying out new sports. That's good for her!
Sorry Lidia is not able to go to tennis camp with Laiya. How did that go over with Laiya?
The two girls do so well together. It's good to see that.
We'll have to get them together again soon.

Just getting around to checking your blog - love the pictures and the updates. It seems as though she's adjusted really well and is enjoying lots of fun activities. The cottage pics are great!
