All day I've been trying to put into words how I feel - excited, anxious, nervous, etc., but none of them seemed to really describe it. Then it dawned on me - I feel blessed! I can't believe we've been given this opportunity - to be parents to another child - a child who desperately wants a family to call her own. We've got a wonderful home and lots of love - what more do you need? Oh, yes, there is the matter of money! Well, we went into this whole process knowing that money could be a problem. We left it in God's hands and, of course, He worked it all out. We believe that if He leads you to it, He will lead you through it. We will be leaving the house in just 14 hours. We will arrive at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, which will be 10:30 a.m. on Sunday here. We will meet Laiya at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, which will be 10:00 p.m. on Sunday here. Oh, I can't even imagine! Once again, we just ask for your prayers for safe travels and for Laiya - her life is about to be turned upside down, so please pray that the transition goes smoothly. Thank you again!

Blessed is appropriate. :) We are so excited for you. We pray for safe travels. We can't wait to meet Laiya at Christmas...by then she may be a bit more adjusted and less overwhelmed. :) Love you!
Dear Dave and Marva,
Hard to believe that at conference last year, I had no idea why you stood me up! And then you made me wait til I got home to find out that you were going to be parents again! Your first child together!!
You are so blessed as is Laiya, to have you for parents. We love you guys and pray for safe travel and a blessed meeting with your new daughter. Blessings, Barb
Dear Dave and Marva, Praise God- what a beautiful day for a flight to China. We will pray for you each day until your safe return. We pray especially for Laiya as she goes through the emotions of leaving the country of her birth and all the people in her life right now. God bless you all.
Love and prayers, Linda and Jack

We are so anxious for you and we hope that you have an awesome time and experience in Hong Kong. We hope that Laiya will transition well when she comes home and that she isn't too nervous. We think it is great that she will share the same special day as me. "remember to look for a cute asian looking shirt for me if you get a chance." We will be praying for all of you and for your safety. Love you all
